Four unhurried steps
We place kittens by conversation, not by queue position. If a kitten isn't right for your household we will say so — and gladly point you to another breeder we trust.
Tell us about your house
Send us a message through the enquiry form. Children, dogs, stairs, whether anyone is home during the day — all of it helps us match the right kitten to you.
A video call with the litter
Half an hour on camera with the kittens on the floor, mother in shot, questions in both directions. Most people know which kitten is theirs within ten minutes.
A deposit holds them
A refundable deposit reserves your kitten and takes them off the site. From then on you get photographs every week and a short video every Sunday.
Going-home day
At twelve to fourteen weeks, in person over tea at the farmhouse, or by ground courier, or hand-carried in cabin by a flight nanny.
Deposits are refundable up until the eight-week vet check, and always refundable if we are the ones who change our minds. We have never kept a deposit from a family who withdrew in good faith.
Getting your kitten home
Collect in person
Two hours from Boston, three from Montreal. Come for the morning, meet the parents, stay for lunch. This is our favourite way.
Ground delivery
Climate-controlled van, driven by one of us, anywhere in New England and New York State. Door to door, with breaks.
Flight nanny, worldwide
In cabin, on a lap, never in cargo. Rabies titre, export paperwork and destination requirements handled by us.
The things everybody asks
We ask that you write to us rather than shop by price. Pet-home kittens and kittens with breeding rights are priced differently, and the figure includes vaccinations, microchipping, registration, insurance and the guarantee. We will give you a clear number in our first reply — no haggling, no hidden extras.
No cat truly is, but Russian Blues produce comparatively little Fel d 1 and shed lightly, and many mildly allergic households live happily with them. If allergies are a concern we ask you to visit and spend an hour with the adults before you reserve.
Yes, and we would rather you did. Visits happen once the litter is six weeks old and fully vaccinated — before that we keep the nursery closed for the kittens' sake. If you cannot travel, we do a proper video call instead.
We do. Kittens travel in cabin on the lap of a professional flight nanny, never in cargo. Rabies titre, export paperwork and destination-country requirements are all handled by us; the cost depends on the route and we quote it honestly.
If everyone in your house is out all day, two. Russian Blues bond hard and a lone kitten in an empty house becomes a sad, destructive kitten. If someone is home most of the day, one is perfectly happy.
Our contract says a kitten of ours never goes to a shelter. If at any point in that cat's life you cannot keep them, they come back to us. That has happened four times in fourteen years and we meant it every time.
